Where Do You Pack Your Make-Up When Going On An Airplane?

Do you put make-up in a ziploc bag or Do you pack it in the checked bags/suitcases?

bring a plastic bag!!!

one time a few years ago i was flying shortly after the liquid scare and forgot i had my make up bag with me and of course they double checked my carry on and almost made me run and try to put it on my checked bag.  fortunatly i didnt have to do this because one of the nicer sucurity guys gave me a regular size plastic bag to put everything in.

defunatly put all your liquids in zip lock bags if they are in your checked bags because they arent exactly gentle with them!!

The last time I traveled the liquid restriction wasn't very tight. I put all my makeup in my little makeup bag inside my carryon bag. I put perfume and my mascera and liquid foundation in the plastic bag, but kept everything else in my makeup bag.

Unless you will be using all your makeup on the plane, pack it in your checked luggage.  You do not have to put it in a ziplock bag, just a regular travel bag.  If you are bringing liquid makeup on the plane, then put it in a ziplock bag in your purse or something so you can pull it out quickly.  Powder doesn't have to be in a ziplock bag.  Apparently not chapstick, because I was able to pass that through.  But to be on the safe side, put all makeup in the bag regardless.

Because of the new liquid restrictions on flights I just put all of my make-up in my checked baggage so I won't have to risk throwing anything out at security.
