  1. 1. the stamp goes on the right top corner.

    2. the MAILING(who you are mailing to) address goes in the center of the envelope

    3. your OWN address on the left top corner.

For the addresses, this is the order as follows:

    NAME

    HOUSE #  STREET

    city  state  zip code

  2. You put your address in small print in the upper left-hand corner.  You put the address of the recipient dead center in the middle of the envelope.  You place the stamp in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. To format an envelope:  Put your name and address in the upper left-hand corner of the envelope, in smaller letters than the address to which you are mailing.  (Alternatively, your return address can be put on the back flap of the envelope.) The name and address you're sending to should be in the middle of the envelope, slightly to the right. The proper postage should be affixed to the upper right-hand corner of the envelope.

  4. The postage stamp goes on the top right side in the corner, and your address goes on the top left side, and the persons address you are sending the letter to goes right in the middle of the envelope.
