If you plan on going in December please call as soon as possible because the spots are filling fast. I have family that comes here to Managua from Los Angeles in December and they used something called MTOM tours. I don't know if you can call,  but they have offices in Los Angeles (Los Angeles and Van Nuys). My family got their tickets for $660, thats the cheapest so far. Word of mouth is that right after thanksgiving the plane tickets will drop but there is no certainty of tickets that far into the month so call and find out.
