Question:

Where I can find free forum, exchanging my mandarin for English studying?

Hi

I am a native mandarin speaker, interested in teaching mandarin. Now I’m studying in UNSW for my PhD degree. Unfortunately, my English level hasn’t been identified with my research on Engineering. I will do oral presentation in an international conference in Tokyo, in Nov, which gives me a big pressure to practice spoken English.

As exchange, I could also teach someone the mandarin and the chinese cook. I live in Randwick, very closed to UNSW, and I have a car so it’s convenient to meet you around the greater Syd.

Feel free to contact me, a kind & smart boy, my tel: 0420544842, email: Kelvin.seu@gmail.com.

  1. hey, im chinese too but i dont live in your area :(

but what i found very useful (atleast used to) was to go to church.

here at my area theres a church with english corner, so you can practice your english with some of the volunteer teachers.

also try to repeat sentences that you have trouble with, to yourself, until you are satisfied with it.

some sounds are hard for us chinese to pronounce, but i found moving your tong and speak a bit slowly give a lot more accuracy.

    good luck
