You might have to get a little creative in your spare time...

At a Community Environment Park outside Melbourne (Aust) I've seen TV powered by a basic prototype of a modified exercise bike, but it was a fair way from commercial production.

You're more likley to find an exersize bike hooked up in that fashion since pedals are easier to move, they can be linked upto a chain or cog system and the energy can easily be converted. On a treadmil however the flat belt against a surface is harder to turn and needs an engine or motor to turn it, it is more difficult to rig to a chain system and there would be much more wasted energy in trying to turn it narturally without any helping motor to get it started.
