  1. You can report, deficiency in services of product or services, if hired or purchased for consumption, and not for commercial application or trade to District Consumer Redressal Forums.

    Unfortunately, for a discount or rebate, you just can not......!

This may not apply in your case...I actually deal with these sorts of issues from time to time in my position.  Nine times out of ten the rebate has been refused because the consumer failed to read the fine print and all directions when submitting the rebate form. Most often a copy of the original receipt (with the rebate items circled), and/or the original bar code from the item have not been returned with the rebate form.  Fortunately, I can fix this at the store level for my customers, however most retailers will wash their hands on rebate responsibilities because this is a transaction between the consumer and the manufacturer of the products involved.
