Right now I am bored and not hardly in the mood. Let say my downstairs air conditioner is no longer working. It post to be 90 outside today. I might put a fan in the window. I have my upstairs air conditioner to run to cool down if I get to hot. I am counting the day to my due date. I have 97 days left. So want can I do to get ready for the baby. I am bored and day seems going slow has well. I thought I get some things ready for the baby,

Second question on monday I have to do three hour Glucose (sugar) testing since my last one well elevated but doctor want me to do another one. My first son did the same but I pass the second one. Want should I not eat tomorrow. I can't have anything after midnight.

  1. Hey you are due on my birthday. But you will start doing the baby stuff all of the sudden one day. its normal to be lazy when pregnant (not that i'm calling you lazy) but then one day you will get a bug up your butt so to say and start doing all the baby stuff. i had the 3 hour glucose test but they didnt say i wasnt allowed to eat anything

  2. Increase the amount of protein you are eating to decrease blood sugar problems. When you snack, snack on protein.

The best thing you can do while you are waiting for baby is to read some books on childbirth so that you can have a positive birth experience for both you and baby. Reading books on pregnancy is not enough to prepare you for decisions you will be making. Congrats and best wishes, G

  3. you should move into a move-in ready house because it seems you dont have air conditioning, so it would be bad for baby

  4. I didn't buy anything for my baby or start setting anything up until after i had already had my baby shower - then I knew what i needed to get and it all came together pretty easily.  :-)  If you have already had your shower you could take all the tags off of the little outfits that you got and then prewash everything!  The clothes will shrink a little bit and it rinses off the chemicals that are on the fabric.  But dont use as much detergent in the laundry as with your clothes, just like 1/4th as much because baby's have sensitive skin.

For my glucose test they told me to eat a high protein meal in the morning.  Something like eggs and toast that has no sugar in it.  Dont eat fruit or flavored yogurt or anything with sugar and you should be fine.

    Goodluck!!

  5. do you have any hobbies?  Do you like crafts when I'm bored I make stuff for my baby (I'm 6months preggo).  The last thing I did was take a  plain onesie and freezer paper cut out a cute design, word or put I love my daddy usually something I find off the internet, iron the stencil sticky side down onto the onesie (it makes a stencil).  Paint the inside of the stencil with fabric paint ($1 at most craft stores). Dry it with a blow dryer and then peel off the freezer paper.  Its amazing how professional they come out.

As for the glucose test I would eat healthy, try not to eat any junky type or fried food.  Adefinitelytly eat enough to hold you over.   Protein would be my choice maybe baked  chicken,  baked potato, and sweet corn.  Plenty of water.

    Good luck
