  1. near tuffnell park there is a place (where i have gone for 2 years now) called shaolin temple uk run by shaolin monk shifu s**+ yanzi who was champion in sanshou (chinese kickboxing) for 15 years undefeated, sanshou is a hardcore style and the training is tough, classes are everyday (different classes for different levels) and there is a mixed class of 3 hours on friday.  The price depends on how u pay yearly membership is like 200 a year or there is monthly which is 50 per month. Anyway yeh its really good because you can go every weekday which if u go everyday adds to about 11 hrs a week. I live in near Archway tube so its like a 10 min walk for me.

note i have never trained there but i have read alot about it, the master the YanZi is a real shaolin monk that spent his childhood training in the shaolin temple and was given the task by the shaolin abbot come to england and teach real shaolin kung fu so that europe could have access to shaolin kung fu. He is there with master Yan Lei also a shaolin monk. If you want to learn a martial art. Shaolin Kung fu is the way to go. A friend of mine went to one of their seminars, and he said it was unreal some of the things they can do

  6. This may help with your question. Training in martial arts is great currently. Merely add a martialarm in your training. Additional information is at their site. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A36HDEmT...

  7. All depends on what you want to study and how much you want to part with. Some of the more professionally run schools in central charge upwards of £100 a month. If you're near Harrow there is a class run by a man called Chandresh Lad. He taught me as a visiting instructor and officiated at some of my gradings. I know his class has a very friendly atmosphere, everybody gets along. I don't know what his prices are or what his classes are like Visit www.harrowckd.com for the information. Wish I could be more help.

  8. the Shaolin Temple UK

    http://www.shaolintempleuk.org/

I'm a member. It was voted best gym in london. The teachers are proper monks, and are incredible fighters. You can go any day of the week, choose between more physical and more theoretical (forms etc) classes, and if you're hard training, and if you like, you'll be able to get in the ring and fight. It's also reasonably priced. Also, there are a lot of member.. not all hardcore fighters, really nice people. myself in particular. (although i haven't been able to go lately- new job)

It's in Tufnell park, north london
