Yes.  There are blogs on line right now that praise the longevity of Quasar products. Glad you are calling them Quasar TVs instead of Motorola TVs. Matsushita purchased Motorola (in Franklin Park, IL) and completely reworked the factory and quality of the product during the 1970s. Japan was famous for its "quality control" QC circles.  I still own and watch a 1983, 19" Quasar TV to this day. It was a graduation to me from my dad. He was the Director of Engineering in the 1970s up to 1983.
