I don't go out that much bu we are today and i was thinking applebees since its not that expensive and kid-friendly .

Max & Erma's, Red Robin, and Chili's are all pretty good family-type restaurants, as well. Red Robin is a little bit more expensive, but the food is good and the atmosphere is really nice.
