There used to be specific areas, like Collingwood, that were famous for being rife with heroin in particular. Now, it seems that it is all over the place, and although there are always hotspots (Russell Street in the city etc) there are no areas that you could describe that way anymore.

It also depends on which drug you are talking about.

There are no specific "Drug Areas" in Melbourne, drugs are all around, and you done even know. Dont assume there are areas where drugs are common, all areas have drugs, and besides, normally, you dont even realise there are drugs in the area. Just enjoy the place and dont worry about it.

Anywhere and everywhere - melbourne is rife with drug head dickheads and the best place to find them is in a jail cell or dead on the side of the road.  I hate living here since moving here 2 years ago as I am sick of how everyone loves drugs in melbourne. Idiots.  Stay away from my kids.
