  1. Antibes is very much an English ex-pat area - it has an English club and various English shops.  Anywhere on the Cote D'Azure has a fairly high proportion of UK ex-pats.

I have to say though, if you're going to actually live in France, it might be better to work in Antibes (or Nice, as has already been suggested) and perhaps live slightly further out, as the spoilt UK 'yacht bunnies', the oafish lads and ladettes, and the endless tourism can be a little wearing longer term!

  2. Any of the towns on the Cote D'Azure

  3. on the coast.. nice or Monaco (if you regard Monaco as in France)

if you plan a little further afield then it will be around Nice/Monaco &/or Provence

  4. Interesting question...

Indeed in the south east of France you have a high community of english speaking people (from Oz, UK, Za, more and more from Ireland). Now the questin, is what type of biz do you want to build up there... A lot of brits offer all type of services to english speaking community, such as pubs, groceries, video club, plumber, builder, electrician, accountant, lawyer, real estate. so, yes lots of english speaking people live in south east of France, but all kind of service is offered to this community.

  5. Cote d'Azur in the East.

Montpellier & Perpignan in the West.

    Peter

  6. the french riviera
