  1. Whether or not you're *allowed* to travel to Dubai depends on your nationality (unless you've been to Israel).

To actually travel to Dubai from Europe is possible overland but it's a long trip and not easy. Almost everyone flies.

  2. Dubai is in the middle east, part of the UAE (United Arab Emirates). It's very small but a very luxurious place. You can just see it lying west of Saudi Arabia.

Dubai and Europe are not connected.

You'd have to get a visa to get there or something because Dubai is not part of Europe.

Emirates is a great airline to fly there and its affordable, same with Etihad and such like.

Look on maps and you'll get the idea. Europe is up northish and Dubai is lies on the tropic of cancer. So there is a difference in distance.

  3. Look, several maps:

    1. Europe

    2. Dubai

    http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=25.25...

if you move out from the Dubai map, you'll be able to see Europe in the upper left hand corner. I don't think there's a connection, and if there is, it will take you forever just to cross the dessert. Besides, you might need visas to cross several countries.

I would fly. Emirates (http://emirates.com/) flies from all over Europe to Dubai
