People in Africa needed dark skin & eyes so they would be more protected from the sun in africa.

People in the north (europe, ect) needed light skin & eyes so they could absorb sun light more easily, because the sun was weaker up there

They are adaptations to the life in which there ancestors lived.

well designed for different places where you live. Asians have no eyelashes and smaller eyes because of the cold and so they adapted. Africans needed darker skin to absorb excess sunlight and to protect themselves. the list goes on

Not sure what the "use" is bit the theory is that our species developed certain characteristics according to where they evolved.  In hotter countries, people needed more pigment, cooler countries not so much, etc.  But don't the differences make us all so much more INTERESTING?

The Genes of all humans are very much the same except what makes one different from another. However, through tens of thousands of years there were mutations so humans ancestors were to adapt to nature. Blacks in Africa became black so they do not get skin cancer from the hot sun. Others brown because of hot sun but not too hot.  I do not know why the Chinese, Korean had slant eyes? Mountain? In northern climate people had blue eyes because the weather is often cloudy and not enough sun. People  on high mountains have long sharp nose so the air warms up before going to the body and ultimately the lungs. Eskimos in very cold climate have round faces to keep the heat  from their faces less radiating.

Look, at first, we were all black. Then, it turned into reddish, the human race developped. Then it became even lighter, turned to somekind of yellow, those people were even developed and then, it turned to white. But none of the races disappeared. It doesn't mean that white people are better, it means that they came last, so they are less "wiser", but have a stronger mind. Remember that we all come of the monkeys, but monkeys still exist.There must be a reason, right? We are connected, we cannot survive when being disconnected.;)
