Where and how can I track a jet stream for a week?

I am having trouble finding a resource or information on how jet streams are presented in weather forecasts, and I need to track the movement of a jet stream over Canada for a week. Can anyone help me?

I have given you, with the aid of a couple sites, what they are and the last site you can actually see where they were by going to the archives... even for Canada.

That is the jet stream plot for Canada. Remember that the jet stream flows from West to East, but it dips in the directions of North and South. The jet stream that affects Canada is the polar jet stream. The subtropical jet stream comes no where close. The jet stream is located where the wind speed is highest. Do not get that confused with jet streaks, which are areas in the jet stream where wind speed exceeds 50 meters per second.
