Where and how can i find a construction job?

Ive found that searching job classifieds for construction jobs doesnt really give up too many results, where and how should i go about finding a general labor construction job? i live in southern california in Temecula.

I would just call various construction companies in your telephone book and ask.

You can call up local contracting firms and ask them if they are in need of anyone and then fax over your resume and cover letter. I own a construction company in NYC and plenty of people email me and call, and fax me everyday! Best of luck!
