Question:

Where and how can i recycle home PCs free in the North East of England?

I need to get rid of at least one moniter and maybe another PC. Thanks.

  1. Have you tried advertising in your local free papers? Or eBay.

    Or, try one of the sites below.


  2. My local councils tip has such a facility.

  3. Look for a WEE distributor in your area

    Waste Electrial Equipment

  5. If they work OK you could give it/them away on freecycle

    If they don't work, your local council should have a disposal facility.

  7. I had  the same problem.  After cleaning out all info, I took it to my local council recycling centre where they has a special skip for computer equipment.  There was no charge.

  8. Your local council will take it (at the recycle centre, not collection) Although be careful who you give the PC too. There may be personal info accessable through the harddrive (bank details and such).
