  7. rip whatever cds you have - gather mp3s from wherever and add them to Windows Media Player library.  In WMP, create a playlist then plug in the MP3 player.  WMP will recognize it.  Set up 'Synchronize' to add the playlist to the MP3 player.  Disconnect normally.

    During the Synch setup there are options to convert file format and such - play around 'til you're happy with the output.
