  1. You can do it yourself. When I broke the screen on my Sony, I found the exact same model on ebay that had a lens problem.  I took the functioning LCD out of the ebay camera and put it into my camera. Problem solved. Cost me $17


  2. No worth of repairing..buy a new one better..
