Where and how to best spend holidays in California so that I will be able to see a lot?

Hello,

I would like to make a trip for two adults to California, for 2 weeks in September / October, like 20th Sep - 4th Oct. I would like to sight see a lot (see San Francisco, Los Angeles, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas although in Nevada and more unless they're not worth it, what do you think?) but also have fun on those famous beaches and shop on those famous streets. I would just like to see a lot.

What is the best place for me?

SF, LA, San Diego, Anaheim, Santa Barbara, or somewhere else? Do you think it would be better to live outside the city? Or near the beach, like in Huntington Beach?

I'm just looking for the best place so that I will be able to see as much as possible in a hotel for 120$-150$/night?

Or do you think it is better to buy a vacation package if something like that even exists? If yes, do you know what's good?

A lot of questions... Thanks!

  1. LA thats it everything else isnt realy worth it

San Fran is to cold and out side of the Prison and Golden Bridge there isnt much so thats a one day stop

in LA you got Venice beach (dont go in the water ) (more for a culture feel youll see what i mean when you get there) Santa Monica for shopping

    Malibu for for site seeing

Melrose and Beverly hill and Bel Air if you want to see all the crazy huge houses

South Central Crenshaw Compton Eco Park Lynwood

if you want to see the ghetto

    other wise Hollywood (sunset srip)

and Long beach (street called "the Pike")for the night life

the beaches in Orange county are nicer like Huntington and Newport and the girls are hot

LA has more Latinas and beautiful mixes that want to party

OC has the rich white girls who drive BMW

    its all good

  2. I've grown up in California my entire life and still have not seen everything.  However there are a few things you just cannot miss.  Disneyland is the first place to go.  The San Diego Zoo is really cool.  Hollywood is great as well as Santa Monica.  Go shop on Rodeo if you want.  Drive up highway 1 along the coast and stop by in my little town of San Luis Obispo.  San Francisco is full of things too.  Drive over the Golden Gate bridge, go to Fisherman's Wharf and eat some chowder.  There's just too many things to see and do.  But if you want to get out of the city, Yosemite National Park is an amazing place.  You need to eat at In-N-Out burger too.

  3. Stay in Orange County. You will be close to amazing beaches, great restaurants, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and just a drive away from San Diego and LA. Check out the Disney Good Neighbor hotels across the street from D-Land. I have gotten rooms there for $100 a night.

  4. Go to Compton cali, i heard its a real killer.
