"Sundin is not going to the Wings. With the cap where it is Holland has only enough money to sign Filppula. He set out to sign Hossa or Sundin. He couldn't afford both. Sundin wouldn't declare so he took second best.

Where is Sundin going? If he is coming back to the NHL there are only 5 teams who might be interested that still have the cap space to sign him.

Colorado is waiting for Forsberg to declare and then maybe Sundin.

Vancouver still has it's obscene offer out there, but it might have to be modified now that they've signed Demitra.

Montreal are still interested.

Ottawa would like to see him alongside Alfie for a cup run.

And of course he still has an offer on the table from Toronto.

He will sign when he is good and ready... great player, BUT.. I think his mindset has been destroyed playing with TOR for too many years. Someone will get a great player whose heart truly isnt in to it. Kind of sad. I can only see SUNDIN truly getting his mind straight and be fully focused if he chose MON, where he would be perceived as a god! Good luck to him, please stay away from the Wings!
