  1. 1st tsunami was thousands perhaps millions of years ago.

    no one knows.

  2. Early in earth's history, as soon as the surface had cooled enough for water to accumulate in oceans, any large meteorite impact would have caused a tsunami:  There would have been more impacts early in eath's history than today.  Oceans certainly existed by 3,500 million years ago. There is also no reason to suppose that earthquake faulting was not going on with associated tsunami events.  Where it happened it is not possible to say, because the coastlines were not in any way like those we have today.  There are recognisable rock layers that are known as tsunamites which are believed to be the result of tsunamis. There is such a layer at Sudbury - a 1.85 thousand million year-old impact structure. I am sure there must be older ones, but they may not be so easy to recognise because of later modification.

  3. Well it must have been some time after water appeared on earth, but that would have been long before tsunamis were called tsunamis.

Until a few years ago they were called tidal waves, and before that they must have been called something else. So my guess is the first one must have hit Japan about a thousand years ago.
