Yes, but ... they were marked 1776 - 1976.  And the 1976 quarters were marked the same.  There's really no way to tell the difference between them, unless you can get a certified proof set.

All quarters in 1975 and 1976 were minted as the special commemorative Bicentennial set and were marked with the 1776-1976 date.  There are no "1975"-stamped quarters, and in common circulation there's no way to tell in which year a Bicentennial quarter was minted.
