Just eat Activia yogurt. It's cheaper, tastes a lot better and doesn't cause diarrhea. It has enough bacteria in it to keep you infection free and it tastes a lot better than any other "pro-biotic" yogurt out there.

They help prevent yeast infections if you've been taking antibiotics, no they will not cure one although they could possibly help.

Many pharmacies carry the pills but I buy mine at health food stores.

At any pharmacy, with the vitamins.  They may cure a yeast infection, because they contain probiotics.  A yeast infection usually occurs after taking antibiotics because the antibiotics deprive your body of probiotics (good bacteria that you need).  So by taking Acidophilus pills, you are replenishing these probiotics, which will help fight off your yeast infection.

Make sure you also eat a lot of yogurt, as this also contains probiotics.
