Can someone tell me what country, primarily, did the African slaves were tooken from to come to America?

  1. There is no primary country African slaves came from. However some important areas include modern day Senegal and Gambia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Angola


  2. Most slaves came from West Africa.   There is a famous port in the Ivory Coast, where they were held before they were put on ships.
