Where are American forbidden to travel besides Cuba and N. Korea?

I know Americans can't legally travel to Cuba due to the imbargos we have against them and we have no diplomatic ties to N. Korea.

Other than those 2 countries and others that are obviouls at war, are there any other countries where American's are forbidden to travel?

What are the penalties for getting caught travelling to Cuba? Just wondering.

Americans are NOT forbidden to travel to North Korea.  North Korea is an isolationist country that RESTRICTS severly, visit by people fom most other counties.  See site below.  There are no countries besides Cuba that the U.S. restricts travel to...and Americans MAY travel there if they have a license to do so.  See 2nd site.  Last sentence under "Entry requirements" tells what may happen to Americans who trvel to Cuba without the appropriate license.
