Where are all of Gordon and Johnson fans?

Last year when Gordon and Johnson were dominating, there was tons of their fans everywhere just talking away and bragging about Gordon and Johnson. This year, not near as many. Verylittle. Instead, it's nothing but Kyle Busch and JGR fans talking away about Kyle and bragging. Hmmm? What happened to all those Gordon and Johnson fans that were swarming all over nascar nation last year?

Jeff Gordon is my #1 favorite driver of all time since 1998. Jimmie Johnson is around my 6th favorite.

I was a fan of all Hendrick drivers until this season, when Kyle Busch got the boot, and now I only like Gordon and Johnson out of that camp, and I still like Kyle. Neutral on Casey Mears, he doesn't seem to have quite the drive to win.

The ones you are talking about had jumped on their bandwagon last year, and have now left to go jump on Kyle's wagon.

The rest of us have stayed right where we have always been comfortable. There are several of us.

I'm here. Jeff has been my favorite since I started watching NASCAR in 2001. Jimmie has always been my 2nd favorite. Bragging usually comes back to bite you so I try to let my drivers' records speak for them.

This year is just not my year

I'm so disappointed :(

I would be so happy and surprised if Gordon can maybe, possibly erupt and steal the chase....well, added that Kyle Busch takes a big blow down the road

well, i don't know where you've been recently, but i've seen gordon and johnson fans all over the place. no, they are not as vocal as last year, and definitely aren't as vocal as some of us rowdy and jgr fans, but they haven't been dominating like last year - exactly what should they be bragging about at this very moment?  (and before anyone accuses me of bashing here, i'm not - notice that i said "at this very moment.")

trust me, neither they nor their fans have disappeared.  johnson and gordon are pretty safely in the top twelve, and improving week by week. and i'll bet dollars to the donuts they'll be doing that we'll hear plenty from all three top hendrick drivers and their fans before the year is over, and rightfully so... there's a reason i put money down in vegas back in february on not only busch and stewart to win the championship, but on johnson and junior as well...

DEI is not doing horribly this year. They are doing very well. Except for a few minor bumps. They got a pole @ Daytona.

There Top 10's are pretty good. and  they are having a descent season.

For the HMS fans I only see a few around. Last year was nuts with all these Gordon/ Johnson questions. Not much this year. Shows how much can change in a year.

A Gordon fan here. Gordon's not making headlines right now. I'll be the first to admit KB is on a heckuva run right now, and that's all there is to it.

Still a fan, just not deluded enough to blame Gordon's lack of wins on some stupid conspiracy by NASCAR or Toyota.

Well, I just recently joined Answers. I AM and always will be a Jeffrey Michael Gordon fan!!

My grandson was diagnosed with A.L.L. when he was 2. That is Acute Lymphocysitc Leukemia, childhood type and highly curable caught early. It was caught early. He is almost 8 and cured, cancer free.

He had a Make A Wish Trip and he wanted to meet Jeff Gordon. They went to Fontana in February and they said he was so nice and personable. He gave Justin all kinds of stuff and they talked a good bit and took pictures.

So, I am even a greater Jeff Gordon fan since then.

I just wish Jeff would start winning again, like he almost did last week!

i agree with you on this question what did happened with Johnson and Gordan fans to me they are still better then kyle it is just because kyle is doing better then Johnson and Gordan this year and altos of people are on kyle side this year but not me

Well I wasn't on Nascar nation and I'm not a big Jimmie Johnson or Gordon fan but are they having a bad season this year? They might not be dominating like Kyle-but who else is? JGR? Denny is 7th in Points and Tony is....12th

My computer must be broken because it looks like they are 5 (Jimmie) and 6th (Jeff) in points-right? Did the season end already?

Like I said on another post isn't the big story how horrible DEI is this year?

Truex Fan: Are you kidding me! DEI has no wins, they had 1 pole, they have only had 11 top tens and 4 top fives (6 top tens from Mark Martin-and 2 top 5's from Mark as well who is leaving!) their top driver is 18th in points-you're telling me they are having a good year? People keep saying how HMS is struggling but it doesn't compare to DEI!!
