Where are all the Burger Kings going?

i live in NH and the one in Gilford and Rochester have closed down!!! Whats going on??? WHY AM I FORCED TO EAT CRAPPY FAST FOOD? we dont even have an Arby's! can someone please tell me whats going on???

To many people are realizing that fast food is unhealthy and quit going. Then they don't have enough money to keep them selves going.

BKand HARDDIES are a few of the last privatly owned fast foods left and both are murging whith anouther chain and also the low addvertisments

I don't understand this either...My choice is always BK and personally I believe that McDonald's is over taken the fast food Business. Look at it this way...McDonald's has become so very competitive with the Iced Coffee's (which are at least 2.00 cheaper than Starbucks) As well as the MC Flurry's which again are at least 1.50 less than a small blizzard at DQ. What really does BK or Wendy's or Arbys have to offer? On top of all that, look at the laundry list of 1.00 items.

they are still there its just that there are so many other fast food stores going up every day that you do not notice the old ones

Burger King continues to close under-performing stores. That's been happening for the last 4 years (at least). We have one in our area that closed also. It was never busy and the McDonald's down the street from them just opened a "re-built" store that has 2 Drive-Thru lanes. McDonald's is always busy, and they are open 24/7.

Probably not enough bussiness.When I go to the one by my house it's empty and the MCdonalds accross the street is full.

This happened in the area I live in back in the late 1990s and a lot of Burger King locations closed down,even the one close to my house closed!Now it's the Wendy's locations that are closing down in the area!

My guess is that it's just Hard Times in the USA!
