i dont understand why people r so mad at him...an this isn't even the first time he almost gets traded. I can understand someone like Mike Vick or something but Manny jus has fun and is a great hitter.

He's a phenomenal hitter, but I've never really liked the way he acts off the field. I'm definitely not a "Manny being Manny" fan, and I'd rather see him work hard for the team. Right now this fiasco he's causing is getting in the way of our on-field performance, and it's also gotten in the way of us getting a bullpen guy or two.  How about that sweep?  Simple- our pitchers all blew up in the middle of the game, and our bullpen wasn't solid either. We left tons of runners on base. That first game- that we lost 7-5- we had more hits than you, but we left about a dozen runners on base, so we barely scored.  How long have you been an Angels fan?

I have never liked Manny as a person, but, up until now, I thought that he was worth putting up with.  Like Pedro and Nomar before him, Manny has come to the point where he just isn't worth the c**p any more. His production is down, his BS is up and he's aging.  Time to say Bye Bye!

yeah every-one hates Manny. but, he is a very good hitter. And people respect him enough because of it. He's won 2 world series with the red sox , and his batting average is always above 300. And, he might be inducted into the hall of fame.

After hearing on sportscenter, that he thinks hes too good for the red sox and that they don't deserve him, I finally realized that he NEEDS to go. asap.

they will immediately hate the man after he gets traded. thats just how red sox fans are normally.

and i'm very impressed by that angels sweep,to be able to go into fenway park and sweep the bosox on the road thats very good.congrats on the texiera acquisition and congrats on already clinching your division pretty much haha
