  1. you are quoting false data.  the global temperature has been falling for the last decade

  2. Record highs of what?

It was 29 degrees last night - WAY below normal.  What does that tell you?

Single events mean very very little.

  3. Right here my friend. Record highs are proof of what exactly now?? We've had record lows in many areas this year and had to listen to the AGW worshipers tell us repeatedly that we can't use these records as proof of anything.

If record highs and record lows can be used as proof now instead of calling them one time weather events I guess we now have a debate on our hands.

Of course we'll have to decide which data would be more significant as proof for each side.

c**p, I almost forgot the debate is over, who won? Not you.

You cant even keep the story straight from one day to the next, methinks credibility is an issue with this crowd.

  4. When the "weatherman" can get the 5 DAY FORECAST! correct.  I might believe a tax conspiracy like global warming.  When the head of the Weather Channel won't believe it I don't think I will.

  5. Record highs through out the world? What data are you looking at? It's well below normal here this week.

  6. Nay!  Nay!

    (I'm here)

The only record highs I'm seeing are on the prices of gas and food, courtesy of global warming regulations.

  7. I Just had record lows (this morning & yesterday) in south florida! The media only reports  higher temps!!!! In fact all of Florida, The Bahamas, Cuba and the entire Carribean just experienced 2 days of record low tempratures. Be sure to gather all the facts as mass media is not accurately reporting the situation...

  8. For once I agree with nice lady.  Short term weather in one place has no meaning.  This is global warming data:

discussed in detail, with confirmation, at:

As long as we keep making greenhouse gases in enormous amounts, the Earth HAS to warm.    It's simple physical chemistry.

  9. The naysayers had a fun month or two while La Nina was strong and temperatures cooled a bit.  Now that La Nina has dissipated, temperatures have returned to normal.

So the naysayers can't really argue that global warming has magically vanished anymore.  I hope they enjoyed blabbering about global cooling for that one month, because we're headed for continued warm temperatures, and they now look pretty foolish having made such a big deal about such an inconsequential short-term weather anomaly.

  10. I agree, This year has seen record low temperatures for the last 20 years. January was the coldest january since 1932.

The trend has continued that this year is the coldest for a while.

HadCRUT, RSS, UAH, and GISS global temperature sets all show sharp drops in the last year. Also the last 10 years looks like with the same four metrics - 3 of four show a flat trendline.

  11. loud and proud now that SUMMER is here
