Question:

Where are all these fabled McDonald's lattes at?

I went to McDs today to try one of these lattes that are supposedly putting Starbucks out of business. But there was nothing but the usual 2000 degree plain old cup of joe on the menu. I live in a swank area. Why no lattes at my McDs?

  1. They're still scraping the grease out of the espresso machine.

  2. I'm not sure why.

At the mcd's where I live they are selling them.

They are definately nothing to get too excited about.

But the are good for the price, only 1.79!

but if you want a really good latte, don't wait for your McD's to carry them, just keep going to starbuck's or a local coffee shop.

  3. I do believe they are trying them in the northwest first.  In the Seattle area.  They are trying to compete with Starbucks so they're starting where Starbucks did.

Don't quote me on that though.

    I just live here.

  4. McDonald's just announced the roll-out of the McLattes in January 2008.

    From ABC News:

Over the next two years, most of McDonald's 14,000 domestic locations will add ... McCafe coffee bars that create coffee beverages such as cappuccino, lattes and mochas.

    Patience, my friend!

  5. Hmmm,I dunno maybe it hasn't came there yet?

  6. These are common at the new "Mccafes" that mcdonalds is rolling out. They also have gelato and plasma screens in the booths.
