Where are cigarettes?

my mom wants to know where my 17 year old brother is getting cigarettes, he said a gas station or something == in iowa and i want to keep him from getting them. do you know where you can legally get smokes under 18 in iowa?

There is no place that you can get smoke under 18 no way.

but i think some friend that is 18 or over is giving him or selling him i was his age one so i now.

you can't unless the place he is going is not asking him for ID or unless he has a fake ID, otherwise someone else who is of age to buy them is getting them for him.

There is no where in the US that legally sell under age people cigs.

There could be a couple things going on here.

A.  He has found someone at a local gas station possibly that doesnt care that they are breaking the law.  If he has any friends that work anywhere that sell cigs, that would be likely.

B.  Someone else is buying them for him

C. Fake ID

In reality, there is nothing you can do to keep him from getting them.  If he is going to smoke, then he is going to smoke.

The best thing to do for him is to give him lots of educational info about smoking.  If your parents are smoking, then they need to quit as well.  If they smoke, it just shows your brother that it really isnt that bad of a thing to do.

No, but it is possible to have someone else buy them for him or maybe there's a convenience store that doesn't card him.
