Where are clubs/bars in Sydney suitable for a birthday where we can sit in a classy lounge area with RnB music

Don't want to be forced to pay certain costs just wanna hire a lounge area and mingle with guests drink and dance.!!

There are some pubs at Balmain that rent lounge areas as well as in Glebe. But I warn you they are expensive. They will charge you around $1000 for the area. Otherwise they say the hire is free, and then charge a load for drinks. I found however that the price for drinks was less than what I would have paid for the lounge area, as long as your not greedy with them.
