Yes it's (a). Epinephrine and norepinephrine are also called adrenaline and noradrenaline, which is a bit of a clue! They are hormones, so they come under the endocrine system. The adrenal glands are just above your kidneys. "epinephrine" comes from either Latin or Greek (can't remember) meaning "near the kidneys".
