Where are good places to eat before prom in downtown San Francisco, CA?

A really nice classy place and willing to spend $$ if it means I get good service and an elegant place to go when wearing formal dresses and tuxedos.

Kincaid's near SFO airport.  It overlooks the water and is great if you have a large group.  Food is soooooo good.

Boboquivari's. Its a great steakhouse that's a little bit more smaller than a big steakhouse, it gives you a more privacy. The food is fantastic, service is spot on, and the atmosphere is great. A bit pricey, but I've always found it well worth what I pay.

If you're into steak, I highly recommend the bone-in fillet mignon. Its up there, but really good! However, the plates don't come with sides or extras, like a baked potato, its all separate. Lastly, it isn't exactly at Union Square.

Optionally, there is Lark Creek inside the Westfield mall. Yes, that sounds sad, but you'd be surprised to find it a quality place inside. Or, if you're on Market St, you can take the street car (not the cable car) to Houston's on the Embarcadero
