  1. For a city of its size, Madrid boasts an exceptional number of world - class museums and galleries. Heading the list is the Prado, with the worlds largest collection of Spanish art, the Thyssen – Bornemisza, which traces the development western art from the 14th century, and Reina Sofia, with its outstanding display of modern art. 2. Madrid has some beautiful places.  I was there last year with my best friend and these are some of the places we visited:

La Cibeles (a gorgeous fountain, gorgeous!), El Prado Museum, the royal palace..We took a bike tour (def.try this!).

You should stop by an information booth, which are all over the city, and they have lots of fliers with tons of information.

    Have fun!

  3. Go to Segovia. It is a FANTASTIC place. There is an impressive aquaduct which is the focal point of the town, a couple of castles, a big cathedral, etc.

I do NOT recommend the Hotel Coregidor though. Trust me, it's not good...

Seville is also lovely, though that is right down in the South so you might not make that far?

    Have fun!
