Where are interesting museums to go to?

my family wants to go to a museum that is fun and interesting but not boring

Michigan is a big state, and there are museums in several of its cities. And there are various types of museums--art, science, history, etc. Kind of depends on what you consider fun.

Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum is a history museum that is fun, contains lots of early industrial things. It is just outside Detroit.

The Detroit Art Museum is one of the better ones in the US.

There are museums on campus at Michigan and Michigan State and probably at some of the other colleges and universities in Michigan.

My choice of the most fun museum in the middle west is in Chicago, The Field Museum.

There are some other good musums in Chicago as well, including one of the best art museums in the world.

Lots of choices in and near Michigan.
