Where are lavender seeds sold?

i bought some pink lavender seeds this year online at http://www.parkseed.com

Out of a 100 seed pack, I've got 7 seedlings that have survived. They're in pots on the porch. I'll probably take them to work and leave them on the windowsill over the winter so they can get bigger and then I'll plant them outside next spring.

After I bought the seeds I read that lavender is very difficult to start from seed. So yeah, 7. that's it. so much for the lavender border along side the driveway!

but try them, you may have much better luck with them.

I've only seen the plants for sale. I've tried growing seeds from my own lavender plants without success.

go to your local garden center and you will be able to purchase a "brought on"plant as well as a packet of seeds.

the plant will have more chance of surviving than a packet of seeds

yes the plants are more expensive but an established plant has more chance of growing than a germinating seed in the wrong conditions
