  1. The hospital you were born at shouls have your hospital records on microfilm. The county of your birth should also have a record of birth

  2. In the toilet

  3. your birth records are kept in the town/city you were born in.

call the place you were born, to get them.

  4. Probably in TN.  Contact the vital records department & see if you can find them.  If you can't find them there, then see what you can dig up in MS.

For TN Vital Records go to

    http://health.state.tn.us/vr/

For MS Vital Records go to

    http://www.msdh.state.ms.us/phs/index.ht...

  5. Where was the adoption finalized? Identifying and non-identifying information about your adoption should first be requested from the state or jurisdiction where the adoption was finalized, and not from the adopted person’s birth location if different.

The above is from this site:

    http://reunion.adoption.com/adoption-rec...

What they are telling you is that all of the information that you need to search is in your adoption records.

    Good luck!

  6. Hi! I agree with Southern Girl. Try TN first then MS if no findings. Good luck to you!!!!

  7. Do you know what your birth name was? If you don't know this, then I don't think you will be able to find your birth record. If you have info on who birth mom was, you might be able to find them that way. Start in Memphis at the court house of whatever county it was. Most birth records of adoptees prior to the 80's were sealed.

    Good Luck.

  8. Depends on how the adoption took place.  I would assume the original records are probably in TN but if the adoption was thru an agency or the state, then these records might have been sealed.
