Question:

Where are my messages being saved from my msn conversations?

further to the question above, I am concerned that my conversations are being saved somewhere on my pc (which is shared in our family). I have gone through all of the settings on msn and it does tell me where they are being saved, however, when I checked the location it gave me, they are not there, the folder is actually empty.... can anyone help me locate where the conversations have gone before someone else does, much to my embarassment, also can anyone help me stop the messages being saved at all?

Thanks in advance x

  1. under my documents, my recieved files, and then you should find your screen name or rather email. Go to it, thats where they are usually saved, ( if they are being saved)

  2. in the MSN screen, click tools on top, then options, then messages, then uncheck message history

as for your saved convos, mine are always kept in documents, you could also run a search for your contacts name that might work

  3. When you started using msn it should have come up with a message saying do you want to save you conversations to this computer. If you clicked no it wouldn't save then. Or if you have msn plus. Open a conversation with some one click on Messenger Plus! Features then open chat log this is where all my conversations are saved. If you don't have msn plus go on my documents and then my chat log.

    Hope this helps. x
