Where are places you go on the interent, when planning any type of vacation?

I just discovered trip advisor in the last few months & LOVE it!  You can get ratings on the best hotel in a town, you can get a list of things to do, ranked by people's preferences, etc.  I also use travelocity when planning a flight, but then I usually go directly to the lowest $ airline's website & get the same flight for about $10 less

first i go to the home page of the place if they have one

then i see what they offer for entertainment then i go to travel sites such as hotels .com and see what deals they have for air and rooms and car rentals.

for instance i booked are vacation for universal studios through the company and our rooms through orbits as they had the best deals for are time of year. it all depends on where and what you want to do.

My past few vacations have been something I have seen in the travelzoo top 20.  After I've decided where I am going to go, I go to tripadvisor to get all the details.  Great reviews there which help me decide on hotels, things to do, etc.

I went to Puerto Vallarta in 2004, Cancun in 2005, China in 2006 and Greece in 2007.
