Where are pyrogens found?

I think that pyrogens are found in Hypothalmus. Am I right?

And is fever caused by pyrogens? I think it is but not 100%

A pyrogen is an substance that can cause an increaes in temperature in an individual. Pyrogenic material may be endogenous - from us (interleukin 1) or exogenous from external sources such as bacterial cell walls.

So in truth they can be found almost everywhere!
