Where are "Children At Play" street signs located?

You can find them throughout certain subdivisions, near parks, and there is even one next to the y.m.c.a. here.

I would like to find out where to go to ask to have one installed on my street or a slow down we love our children sign. I can't get the local police to watch my street for speeders and there are tons of kids and a park on my street. My poor son never gets to leave the yard.  Maybe someone has some information on where to get one placed??

Just about everywhere like at schools, neighborhoods but newer signs that say "Watch for Children" or simply "Children are seen more today.

Wherever there are enough parents who pester the town or city council enough to have such a sign put up.

In reality, these signs do nothing, and they tend to stay up long after the children in the neighborhood grow up.
