Where are real mermaid creatures located?

I've been looking up all sorts of info. about mermaids and I would like to know where they're located.

It's me again Cleo Emily Coral i didn't exactly tell you where you could see them but you can see me at Balmoral Beach tommorow 2/10/09 at 7:00am sharp. I will be sitting on a large rock and if you don't come you will never see a mermaid again no matter what happens. I am 15 and i have an orange coloured tail. Oh and don't  forget that i will be there waiting for you and if you want anyon eto come then just tell them or if someone else is reading this then they can come aswell.
