A lot of asian airlines still "show off" their flight attendants and only hire attractive ones (once they get to a certain age, or get married, they are let go). In the US and Europe, there are too many laws against this obvious blantant discrimination.

They are all 75 years old now; that is, there have not been "stewardesses" on airliners for more than 30 years.  Flight attendants of both genders are employed to be of service to passengers and to enhance in-flight safety.

It is now illegal to harass a flight attendant in a sexually suggestive manner.  If you don't understand all of this, then you should refrain from traveling by air.  You could end up in handcuffs, and it really isn't a joking matter.
