  1. They haven't died and made you their associate editor. I'm Singaporean, and i seriously don't think there's anything wrong with Singaporeans. Some are extremely rude, but there are always people around who are really nice! My uncle , who works as a taxi driver, told me that around 75% of the Singaporeans he ferries around are really nice and kind and understanding people. It just so happens that the really bad ones come along once in a while.

    After all, the good things are always forgotten, and the bad things constantly remembered. Just try to change your mindset a little.  


  2. Social graces are not a priority in pragmatic Singapore. Don't look for that. Instead, appreciate the efficiency, cleanliness, and orderliness of this city state.
