Where are some classes I can take to learn how to snowboard?

Nearly every resort that has a ski school also has snowboard lessons. Choose a resort near you and inquire about snowboard lessons. There are several resorts in area, but I'm in Seattle so I can't name them. Have fun.

Four Lakes resort and Villa Olivia would probably offer lessons to first time snowboarders. Those 2 are the closest resorts to Chicago.

There is also Chesnut Mountain and Ski Snowstar, but you will have to go further west for those 2 resorts. They should offer first timer lessons too.
