Where are some extremely gorgeous places in late September?

i like to go to the beach and stuff. i don't want it to be in the atlantic ocean though. also, a safe place with no terrorist. some place close to america, likw the carribean or something. we are planning on going sept. 27 and stay there for about a week or a bit more. my family likes tropical, safe, clear water, white sandy beaches, and a perfect temp. but different places are different though the year, so we need a place that is nice in late sept-early oct. yup!

Fiji or Cook Islands.  Tropical, safe, not overcrowded or overdeveloped, idyllic beaches,  nice weather at that time, snorkelling over great coral reefs right off shore, great polynesian culture - very family friendly.
