Where are some good fhishing spots?

i live in sault ste marie, ontario canada... and i wanted to know where there would be some good fishing spots around here. im going to take a day trip and go somewhere to fish...any ideas?

I work with a guy who lives and breathes fishing, and he swears by the fishing just north of you in Wawa, ON.  There are several fishing camps there apparently.  Lots of lakes.

We're going there on vacation to visit friends, and I'm looking for stuff to do around there, and it's mostly sounding like fishing, so I may have to take it up to enjoy my vaca!
