  1. Manchester, ( is your best bet from Bolton ) Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, York, Blackpool, Preston, Lancaster, Chester, London, ( you must vist the capital of England )

    Countryside,

    North Yorkshire Moors,

    Lake District,

    The Pennines,

    Ribble Valley,

    Northumberland,

    Yorkshire Dales,

  2. Anywhere in t'north..York, Scarborough, Manchester, or get up to the Yorkshire Moors and NW to the Lake District.

  3. TRY AND GET TO LONDON FOR A FEW DAYS YOU WONT LOOK BACK

  4. There's not a lot in Bolton itself, but you'll only be about 15 minutes away from Manchester by train where there is loads of stuff to do. Pubs, clubs, resteraunts, bars. The Northern Quarter is quite cool, Deansgate is good for shopping. I'd also recommend Manchester Art Gallery on Moseley Street, Manchester Museum on Oxford Road and Urbis at Cathedral Gardens. You get great views of the city from the wheel or you could venture further south to Rusholme for the famous curry mile. Depends what you like to do really.

Further afield, Liverpool,York and Newcastle are nice but all fairly similar things to do as in Manchester. Would definitely visit the Lake District, if you get the chance and you enjoy the countryside. Maybe even Scotland.

Anyway, hope you have a nice trip and let me know if theres anything specific you'd like to know about - I might be able to help.
